Senior Choir

The Calvary Senior Choir is a group of talented volunteers, all from the Calvary congregation. Many of the members have extensive music backgrounds as soloists or instrumentalists and all sections – soprano, alto, tenor and bass – are strongly represented. As a result, the choir often tackles challenging anthems in a variety of music styles.

The choir is expertly directed by Denise Jung who has been Calvary’s Music Director since 2017.

In the past, the choir has put on several musical evenings as fundraisers, including a Gospel Night and a program of primarily classical music featuring various soloists.

The choir practices in the Sanctuary at the church Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9pm. Rehearsals focus on learning and fine-tuning future music but there is always time for conversation and laughter. New members are welcome!

Choir Practice is held Thursdays at 7:30pm in the Sanctuary.
