Calvary Compass – January 27, 2026 - Calvary United Church, www.calvaryuc.ca

Dear Friends of Calvary,

On Sunday, a few brave souls attended our church service in-person. Fortunately, we were able to live-stream it for those who decided to stay home due to concerns with the weather. Thank you to Kim and Rev. Kerry for sending out an email to forewarn us of a possible cancellation and to watch our emails in case we did close. The weatherman was predicting a bad storm, but Toronto and other places seemed to get the worst of it.

Rev. Kerry will be on Study Leave from January 27th - February 11th. Bill Butt will be conducting our church services while he is away. If you are in need of Emergency Pastoral Care, please call Kim so that she can forward your request to the minister covering.

Worship Services are all live-streamed:

            Those who walk blamelessly and do what is right

                and speak the truth from their heart;

            who do not slander with their tongue

                and do no evil to their friends

                nor heap shame upon their neighbours.

 PRAYER FOR THE WEEK:

            Gracious God,

            As we in living into another day,

            may your comfort encourage us,

            may your peace be upon us.

            This we ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer Focus: For those working or providing heath care to our loved ones.
