DREAMS COME TRUE MUSIC STUDIO

We welcome Dreams Come True Music Studio to our worship service this Sunday.

Dreams Come True Music Studio is an inclusive music program for people of all ages and abilities. It is an opportunity to experience the world of music in a fun, safe and supportive group environment. Music expands all ability level and is an effective, educational and therapeutic tool for both children and adults. Participants sing, dance, perform with rhythmic instruments and explore music and friendships. The program offered two times a year culminating in Showcase Concerts. A Music Camp runs each summer.

Director, Allison O'Connor, began musical training at an early age. Her love of music and people led her to pursue a Bachelor of Music, Honours Music Education Degree and a Bachelor of Education at University of Western Ontario. Throughout her 31 years as a Music Teacher at Thames Valley District School Board, she continues to develop a love of music, theatre, concert band, voice, piano and creating self-confidence and success in music.

When Allison's son Cameron began participating in Special Olympics, she was inspired to create Dreams Come True Music Studio where individuals of all abilities would have an opportunity to experience music in an inclusive environment.
