CALVARY BAZAAR

The Calvary Bazaar will be the beginning of November. If you are making any jams, pickles, chutney, chili sauce, salsa or other kinds of preserves, please make a little extra for the bazaar. The items sell well and go quickly. If you need jars, there are some in the boxes at the parking lot door,  downstairs in the bazaar room next to the Scout/Guide den and the hallway leading to the kitchen.  Always remember to use new tops. We are selling to the public.

If you are cleaning out cupboards and see things that can be sold at the Gently Used area, the jewelry/purse area or used books, please save them for the bazaar. Also if you have any jars ( 250 ml and 500 ml.) that you will not be using, please bring them to the church so they can be used for someone's canning. There are two boxes located at the parking lot door for jars.

Sometime closer to the bazaar date, you will be able to bring your things to the church. Thank you!

•           Bible Study - Thursday - 11:00 am - 12 Noon via Zoom

 Bible Study:

Scripture Reading: Luke 11: 1 -13;

Psalm for the Week:

Psalm 138: 7 -8 from the New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition

            Though I walk in the midst of trouble,

                you preserve me against the wrath of my enemies;

            you stretch out your hand,

                and your right hand delivers me.

            The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;

                your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.

                Do not forsake the work of your hands.

     Prayer for the Week:

            Loving and Creating God,

            You are near and far; distant and ever-present.

            You are faithful as the sunrise and tender as the grass.

            Your outstretched hand is less than a prayer away.

            Help us always and in all ways. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Prayer focus for the week:

Our country's Prime Minister and Premiers as they meet in Cottage Country

to find a way forward through tariffs and relationships between provinces.

May their wisdom enable a better country for all peoples from North, South,

East and West.
