Calvary Compass – October 20, 2026 - Calvary United Church, www.calvaryuc.ca

Dear Friends of Calvary,

Last Sunday's service with the Junior Amabile Singers and Amabile Prima was wonderful. Music definitely lifts the spirit and their choices of music made it an uplifting service. Unfortunately, there was a technical glitch and the live-stream did not work.

If you have not donated to the Canadian Foodgrains Bank yet, but plan to, the date the deadline is this coming Sunday - October 25th.

Calvary has a new part time custodian who started last Sunday. His name is Archie Antone and he is a resident property manager of Armsby Property Management. Please welcome him if you see him.

++++++++++++

During this time of sorrow, let us pray for those affected by the tragedy at CFB Wainwright this past weekend.

O God of comfort,

as tragedy has struck those that serve our nation at CFB Wainwright, we ask that your comfort and peace be with those affected by this tragedy.  May the families affected find comfort in knowing that a nation mourns with them and they are not alone.

“Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted.”   Matthew 5: 4

Worship Services are all live-streamed:

                shew forth his salvation from day to day.

            Declare his glory among the heathen,
