On Wednesday, October 8th, we are having a pot luck lunch and Trivia contest. Everyone can bring a friend or partner. However, please let us know if you are coming and what you plan to bring for the lunch by October 1st.

Psalm 73: 26, 28 from the New International Version translation
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.
But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.
Prayer for the Week:
O God, you are my/our ever-present support.
Whenever our faith and courage falter, inspire us
to yearn for the divine blessing of your word.
May we continue to cherish your presence and
the rest we find in your never-ending love. Amen.
Prayer focus for the week: For those that are struggling to find their way. May they find the love of God for their lives.
